Copyediting

Copyediting improves your text’s language, clarity, and consistency.

We review and improve the text before it reaches the final stages of production. Your copyedit will focus on:

  • Grammar, spelling, and punctuation

  • Sentence structure and clarity

  • Word choice and tone

  • Consistency in style (internal consistency, or following a style guide of your choice)

  • Fact-checking and basic accuracy

  • Formatting issues within the text

  • Eliminating repetition or awkward phrasing

We offer copyediting at 3 cents per word, with a $10 minimum order.

Proofreading

Proofreading catches final mistakes, just prior to publication.

When we proofread your text, we look for surface-level issues such as:

  • Typos and spelling mistakes

  • Punctuation errors

  • Formatting problems

  • Missing words or repeated words

  • Incorrect page numbers or headings

  • Layout issues

We offer proofreading at 2 cents per word, with a $10 minimum order.

Other Services

We can help develop your ideas or restructure existing text, based on your needs. We also offer ghostwriting services to help you complete your manuscript. We will use your notes or an interview to compose original text for when you know what you want to say, but don’t know how to say it.
